18th December 2012

today I got booked by a fairly new photographer, he's only done 3 shoots, I am Richards fourth shoot to date, Richard booked 4 hours at Mark Fiddians Studio nearby Cambridge, I found him very respecting of my privacy & extremely polite.

the first hour we started with an outfit styled by Mark Fiddian himself, we were going for really quirky fashion, raising eyebrows, slight snarls, and extreme body shapes.. I really enjoyed being photographed by Richard Maximum as he had a great sense of humour and got some new expressions out of me..here is one of the images Richard took,

second hour we decided to do some natural cropped right in fashion shots, I was wearing a bright blue dress with a blue bit of material rapped around my neck to add character to the image.

third, we changed the whole lighting set up and went for some head and shoulder shots, for this I used my shoulders in various ways to define the look, I also experimented in some angles for more flattering results,

and the fourth hour we went abit crazy and did some harsh shadow images up against a wall, WE rocked it!

as I was about the leave mark asked me if I wanted to shoot for a few hours, totally unplanned.. so we did..

Mark is a very creative guy, he really knows style.. for most of his shoots he'll go out and buy garments especially for what he wants/needs..

so we started doing some headshots with a hat & some strikingly odd poses, then implied topless with dark blue material slicked back hair and blue lipstick.. it made my pale skin just pop out of the image.

it worked so well.. after the first set we decided to mix it up a little, we had some white material and I dulled down the dark lips to a light nude colour, we went for more innocent looking images with a couple of stares.

to finish our two hour shoot, we decided to do some soft light with me laying on the floor again implied topless with a underskirt/tutu and went for a ballerina look..

we did Amazing, I got so many expressions I didn't know I had!!! great fun & can't wait for the next shoot.

15th December 2012, London

Eddie Cheng wanted me to model for his low light street photography workshop, i said yes..

I start my day with an hour train journey to London that was very relaxing, then to get into manic busy London to do some extreme shopping for future outfits..

I met Eddie Cheng and group outside Holborn Tube station at 2:30 we went straight from there to a set of alleyways just across the road, i chucked my bag down and got a pair of heels out.. we were ready to shoot, i started by standing in a doorway doing all sorts of bendy shapes, expressions etc.. i found the photographers on the course extremely polite and fairly confident..

we then moved to another street in London where i stood in the middle of the road!! yes in the road, putting myself in danger ;) i blame Mr. Cheng! here is some of the shots from this location..

taken by Vish Patel

we then made our way to mcdonalds for a coffee to review the images that had been taken and to grab a coffee to warm our hands up!
on the way to Mcdonalds we past a bus stop, Eddie stopped the photographers and told them to shoot in a way that explain what they were learning on the course.. heres a couple of shots from this location.... p.s the photographer (Vish Patel) nearly got hit by a bus to get one of these shots..

We arrived at Mcdonalds for a coffee, grabbed a quiet spot where we could review the images and see other polaroid's of Eddie's...

as we leave Mcdonalds Eddie pulls out his polaroid and points it at me, i pull a face and this is what we get..

we finally arrive at SNOG, miles away from our destination..
(taken by Vish Patel againnnnnn)

oh and at the end of the workshop i gave another hour to model, and modelled with reflections & twinkly lights.. more pictures to come...
Can't wait until the next Eddie Cheng Workshop in Manchester!!

after shooting i met for Chinese with the well known Lynn Htun (pixel inspirations photography).. there will also be some images from my and Lynn from the shoot we are planning!

Keep Watch..

11th December 2012

Today me and my boyfriend Alex McDonald had our first shoot together at Studio one ailsworth.
I wasn't nervous about being infront of the camera with him, when we turned up to the studio after bussing and training it there *LONG* we got straight to it and shot for about half an hour doing some natural shots, Alex running around playing with lights and talking to himself. the usual ;) here is one of the natural shots we got..

I also planned a quick shoot with David Glover in between me and Alex shooting, we had half an hour and he told me to vamp my makeup up and go outrageous. he was casually chucking backgrounds all around the room and throwing material at me. Haha! I did my makeup in 5 minutes and we were ready to go, he used the ring flash, he's a right laugh.. here's a couple...

Alexander and I decided we wanted some dark eyed photos, and as my makeup was pretty outrages as it was, I just used what I had as a base for more makeup.
(Alex changed the light again)
and yeah here's another that Alexander took :)...

Oh, and.... We got a subway on the way home.
